Warsaw · Poland · Ordinary hotel, well placed
Staying near the Nożyk synagogue, Warsaw
Central Śródmieście hotels within reach of the Nożyk — the only pre-war shul left in Warsaw — and of POLIN and the Old Town.
No kosher kitchen — listed for where it stands, not for its food.
- Listed as an ordinary hotel district rather than a Jewish quarter, because that is what it is. There is a shul and a community here; there is not a neighbourhood you can do a whole Shabbos in the way you can in Antwerp or Kazimierz.
- Warsaw's kosher provision is thinner than Kraków's. Establish what is actually open for your dates before you rely on it, and consider bringing what you need.
- Treblinka is two hours north-east with nothing on the way, and Warsaw is the only sensible base for it.
Distances measured from Nożyk Synagogue, Twarda 6, not from the building itself.
